The imitation game: does it ring a bell? No? Well, let me tell you a story that will give you goosebumps.

Imagine chatting online with someone. They seem like a normal person, responding intelligently, making jokes… but what if I told you it could be a machine? Creepy, right?

This is the heart of the imitation game, better known as the Turing test. A brilliant idea born from the mind of Alan Turing way back in 1950.

But don’t think it’s old stuff — it’s more relevant than ever!

Do you know what Turing wanted to prove? That machines can think. Yes, you heard right. Think! But how do you prove it?

Turing had an insight: if a machine can imitate human intelligence so well that it’s indistinguishable… well, then we can say it “thinks”! Genius, isn’t it?

But wait, it gets even more interesting. The test works like this: there’s a human interrogator chatting with two hidden subjects.
